I was excited this morning to get in the mail a copy of Can God Be Trusted: Faith and the Challenge of Evil (2nd ed.) by John G. Stackhouse, Jr., for review courtesy of Adrianna Wright at InverVarsity Press. Admittedly, I haven't read the 1st edition which was first published in 1998 by Oxford University Press (I wasn't much of a believer then), but it's one of the few books I have truly been looking forward to reading.
Don't get me wrong, I read a lot, and I like a lot of what I read, but I rarely get too excited. I'm excited about reading this though.
